Bevel Gears
Bevel gears are beneficial when the route of a shaft’s rotation requirements to be modified. They are typically mounted on shafts that are ninety degrees apart, but can be made to perform at other angles as effectively.
The tooth on bevel gears can be straight, spiral or hypoid. Straight bevel equipment tooth in fact have the identical problem as straight spur gear enamel — as each and every tooth engages, it impacts the corresponding tooth all at after.

Just like with spur gears, the remedy to this difficulty is to curve the equipment teeth. These spiral enamel have interaction just like helical tooth: the get in touch with starts off at one finish of the equipment and 
progressively spreads across the total tooth.
